Pink is a state of mind

We wrapped our first Little Pink Retreat tonight with a night of grilling, hugs, laughter, tears, and good-byes before everyone packs up and leaves in the morning.  Although we are leaving, we are still connected in ways unimaginable- we are all part of a Little Pink family.  And as one of our dad's said earlier this week, "pink is a state of mind".  The feeling that we had in this beautiful location is because of what each family decided to make it.  Thanks to the special volunteers this week and the amazing families that will forever stay in my heart.  A life altering week that is a gift to me.  I am inspired by each of the incredibly strong women who attended.  I am grateful for the love of the men who will continue to shelter these women during their storm.  I am excited that our children got to experience a week of fun with their parents.  And most of all, I am thankful that God has moved people to make this week possible!  Here is our final set of pictures from the week:
