A perfect start!

Today was a day full of bright blue skies, beautiful blue water, and huge smiles from our couples retreat group in St. John!  The day started off with a wonderful island taxi tour where everyone had a chance to learn about the island, take pictures and get to know each other!

 The island tour gave them a chance to take some amazing pictures!

And waiting at the end was a beautiful beach at Maho Bay

Took some quick snorkeling lessons and then got a chance to swim with the sea turtles! 

 

And then it was off to a wonderful dinner at High Tide!  High Tide provided the dinner and thanks to our anonymous, generous donor who picked up the bar tab!  Truly an example of the goodness of St. John and the feeling that we are all put here to help others in need.  

We are going to go Stand Up Paddling in the morning- stay tuned!

Welcome to Paradise with Little Pink

It is official!  Little Pink is in the Virgin Islands with 6 wonderful couples from Texas, Mass, NC, and even as far away as Idaho!  Although it was a long day of travel, that included a Mr. Toad's Wild Ride in a taxi from the airport to the ferry, all of our couples arrived safe and sound and ready to relax.

 It was a gorgeous day, full of beauty...

full of new meetings...

 

a stroll to lunch...

 with very little traffic on the way home...

 and time to stop and .... just stop and talk!

 because at the end of the day, when this is the view from your balcony, you know that you are going to wake up the next morning with a smile on your face, ready to focus on 

living stronger, laughing harder, and loving deeper.  

The fun never ends...

Has it really been a week already?

There were countless laughs, huge smiles, and even a few tears as we spent our final evening with the newest members of the Little Pink Family. Our delicious dinner, beautiful venue, and thoughtful gifts were provided by the Coastal Southern Women's Club. Some creative plots to stay in Carolina Beach were shared, but it wasn't just the weather back home that had our families wanting to spend more time here. They truly felt the embrace of this generous community.

We'd like to thank all of the vendors, volunteers, and fellow charity groups that made this retreat so special. Without the love and support from you, none of this would be possible.

And finally, thank you to our families for believing in Little Pink and having the faith to drive from all over the country to be a part of this. Our volunstars are honored to have had the opportunity to serve you.
